I do not yet qualify in the Skilled Worker category (just a point short) but the Quebec immigration pre-assesment showed positive results for me so I'm planning to first apply for the Quebec nomination certificate but had some concerns.
1) I am currently studying in Ontario on a Study Permit and will finish in the next 1 to 1 1/2 years. If I do get the PR before I graduate ( I am not 100% sure of the time frame but the website gave a best case sceneraio of about 14 months) do I have to move to Quebec immediately?
2) If so, then am I limited to stay, work, and study only in Quebec or once I "land" in Quebec can I move about Canada where I find work or choose to study?
3) If I have my Quebec immigration submitted, can I still apply for the Skilled Worker category? (I'm just curious about this because if I am limited to stay in Quebec then it leaves me with an option)
I would appreciate your help.
Thank you
My answers to your questions [in same order]
1. No
2. You're free to move anywhere in Canada
3. There's nothing stopping you. You can.

Hello Quebecois,
I am just curious about settling in quebec. You told that you have just a point short for applying in the skilled worker category and you told that you are qualifying for quebec immigration.
I am just curious, don't you need to work there, study there or need a job letter before you apply for quebec under PNP or shouldn't you need relatives there or know to speak french?
How it is possible. Can you guide me? I have the same situation like you and want to find some possible way for it.
I appreciate your time and consideration. Thanks!!
