Did you sign a lease for 1 year?
Did you give him or her advance cheques?

If not,

you can give 60 days notice and walk away. If you give notice today then you can vacate by July 30.

If you signed a lease for an year then look at the lease, it surely mentions the terms for lease breakage. Usually it would be 2 months rents, but could could vary from lease to lease. Check your lease terms.

Sometimes they let you walk away with a 30 day notice and $2-300 towards advertising costs/painting costs etc. Talk with your landlord. Generally, we identify the 'nice' manager.... Find out their on duty days.... And then approach him/her..... Make sure you are prepared with all the possible options..... So that you can make an informed decision.... If you find a replacement tenant..... Then too they can let you go.....
