I am Canadian PR - last month i went to india, got engaged and did a court marriage.

Now i am planning to apply for my wife´s immigration and once immigration process is done , then have a traditional wedding

now i have lots of photos from engagement function which i can show as wedding photos, some photos where we were out together which we can show as honeymoon photos etc , also i have a wedding card printed

so can i apply for immigration - i am going crazy with all this - pls give your suggestion

I am not sure I understand why you feel the need to do all this. Family sponsorship for spouse is straightforward enough and the wait times seem very short. Your court marriage certificate IS a valid marriage document.

Please do not try to cheat the system. You/your spouse might be jeapordising all chances for admission to Canada besides adding to the perception that all desis are out to cheat.

my intention is not to cheat the system, but just to bring my wife along with me next time i visit india, my wife comes from simple family and never travelled by air so far,

my option 1 is to apply for her immigration rightt now - and then visit india and get married

option 2 - have a traditional marriage and then apply for immigration ( in this case i cannot bring her along with me ) and she has to wait for like 6 months before she gets here

pls suggest

Option 1 makes sense because you are already legally married
