Hello Everyone (especially old timers! Garvo Gujrati et al, )
Its been a long time since I posted here. I have had the pleasure of answering queries from others, but now I need some help from our Desi Bandhu-log

I was wondering if folks can guide me as to where would be a right place to stay when I land in Toronto later next month.
My office will be at the intersection of Lawrence and Yonge St.
As such, I am looking for folks who would like to share their accommodation with me, or can connect me to someone (or connect someone to me) for that.
Any other pointers would be really helpful.

Ottawa .. then Mississippi then Bangalore for the past few years .. As a long standing member and having been credited with one of the most popular threads of CD , could you kindly share with a brief update on yourself .

Sorry for digressing but could not help upon seeing a new thread from you . I m sure others would respond to you or else Kijiji & Craigslist are always there .

Fido! Indeed I have been to places; It was Missouri and not Mississippi

I have things lined up at Craigslist but wanted to check up with our folks here. As I have mentioned, I have a job offer with a company in Toronto (address given in my last post). As I wont be driving, initially, I would like to have an accommodation that is close to downtown.
How have you been doing?

Thanks but the question still persists. Most of the ads in Kijji and Craigslist are weird (I would have loved those when I was still single). So, any Bhai / Behan log can help here? Contacts/pointers would be helpful.

I cant even post an ad on Craigslist as I do not have a phone number in Canada (yet!)
