Lately there has been a trend on CD to say derogatory words towards the Muslim religion. While the moderators are always very efficient in removing any other offending posts, nothing has been done to remove the bigot and anti-Muslim remarks. CD being an open internet forum gives us the opportunity to discuss various topics but this platform has been abused by some to spread hatred towards a community. Apart from the moderators, some of the senior CDs who jump on to every thread to make their point conveniently miss the posts I am talking about.
My question to the moderators are:
1. Do you guys promote spreading of hatred to an entire community and religion?
2. If not, will there be any action taken against people who indulge in such derogatory comments? In the past, people have been banned from the forum for making personal comments on other members while some moron openly shows his ignorance.
Here’s one recent post. I don’t have the time, patience or the inclination to search and posts and post more links here, but you get the drift.

Apart from this, if anyone tries to put some sense in these ignorant little creeps or challenges them, their posts are conveniently deleted by some of you, especially GarvoG.
One such example is the recent deletion of New York’s post where she asked mcg7 to stop spewing venom and hatred on this forum. There were absolutely no personal comments or attacks made in that post, but it was removed anyhow.
Dear Mr. 'Manny Singh',
1) With all due respect, is it any extraordinary coincidence that you are extremely worried about Islam getting a bad name rather than the mutilated corpses in Mumbai today?
2) Freedom of speech goes both ways! If i pulled up 50 links of Islamic/arabic/pakistani forums where hate speech and literature is freely promoted, would you take personal responsibilty for their actions? No, you will look the other way and pretend they don’t exist.
3) In my humble opinion, i am yet to see a Sikh person (or anybody else) being extraordinarily concerned about Islam. The least you can do is, ‘Man-up’ and stop pretending to be either 'manny' or 'singh'.
P.S: You are barely 25 posts old; moderators know what’s good for the forum.
Goodbye.

Mr. Manny Singh unfortunately words and deeds never matched for the community you are referring to!
Why are they trouble makers everywhere and why not people from other religion? Can you please explain?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
He who has not acquired one of the following: religious merit (dharma), wealth (artha), satisfaction of desires (kama), or liberation (moksa) is repeatedly born to die
there are a lot of terrorist acts committed around the world including the mumbai blasts of today. However there is NO open condemnation of any terrorist activity by the community you mentioned. Never.
Why ?
I am not against any religion. I could very well belong to the religion you mentioned, but the fact is that there is NO open condemnation of terrorist activity or killings by that community in question.
Nobody gains anything by blaming one religion, so the original post that a particular religion is targetted is totally wrong.
Can the person who posted or that community in question , openly stand up against terrorism..then you will not feel some posts are directed against a particular person or religion.
They are directed against merciless killers of humanity regardless of religion

Manny Singh ..... Manny Singh ... why does this id remind me of something ??
I may be wrong but have we not had controvercy with this user id before ...... I don't remember exactly but I shall rake up and get the earlier thread ...
As far as the original post is concerned .... it is becoming a universal phenomenon .. Look around ....
By starting this thread , you are errupting the said and complained for bashing even more ...
Trust me - if you had a single friend or relative who would have died of Islamic Terrorism ..... you d be the first in the line of bashers ...
