Thanks Maharaj for your concerns. We are all open for suggestions on this topic but without memeber's support this is not possible.

I welcome ideas from you folks on this.

There are highly debated topics going on and we have done measures in the past to stop such things. However stopping such topics completely is not possible.

I am thinking about various solutions - one is to incorporate logic to flag/rate topics/responses in the order of relevance by members. By doing so we can push such topics at the bottom (or hide them). Posters continuously recevining lower ratings can be deprived from contributing further.

Any other ideas?

For one, please moderate the abusive language that's thrown around once in a while, most recently, the one from yesterday. However disagreeing posters may be, there has to be a language etiquette to use during the discourse.

Personally, I am not a fan of constant religious propaganda - both for and against any religion. It just spirals into a hatred discussion. But, that's up to you moderators to decide what's free speech and what's not.

This is indeed very usefull site, with tons of information, and eager to guide and help members, I do not know where in the topic of draining the site arises from.

My suggestion to include more predefined symbols like the smilies to express anger or hatered or disagreement over the views shared rather than express it through one own language, any body violating the norms gets the flag or rating by mod, as suggested by GG.

Any negative sentiments has to be strictly expressed using those
``symbols ONLY``

Religion should be banned all together as it creates all the problem

The other thing that should be banned is members posting new items without their views. Members have been warned in the past from just posting links or new items. Unfortunately, I cannot think of any automated way to do that.
