This is the single biggest reason the site is going down the drain..
There seems to be a group of CD's who have shown anti Islam traits, and then tend to gang up on people, when they try to show them their follies.
Even though i dont belong to the religion i find this very offensive..
My suggestion if people want to discuss religion then they should go to some other forum..

What i see is debates are not welcome.. infact if someone posts bad about the majority religions , i find people ganging up or say why are u cut pasting articles..
At the same time the minority religions are all game for such cut pastes..
On this forum there are no debates when it comes to religion...

There is no point in discussing Religion Here. There is space for religion here, but don't make this a platform to spread hatred against any.
There is no point in cutting-pasting every lil news from India. As SS said, Poster has to put down why it is such a big deal.
I mean c'mon, free speech & all is good. You will again ask people to be respectful and refrain from using bad language. But what the heck, who cares. "I am not owner of this site. If this goes down, I'll find other one to vent my frustration". This is what offender thinks (not me).
We had similar discussion before and some very good suggestions (Report Abuse) came into practice. Let's see we can implement some more.
- Like/Dislike Button could be one of such things.
- Main topic is already lost, when discussion reaches 3rd Page. There are some which has maintained sanity but very few.

What about introducing like/dislike button? Additionally, add a criteria for the 'Dislikes'. If there are an 'n' number of deslikes from unique IP addresses , the poster will be rated -1 for each, and will be banned to post any further if their rating is beyond, say -25 or -50. So, in order to be active, they would need to increase their rating.
Another option is to stop completely any posts that directly or indirectly spew venom against any religion. Period. There're already enough religious wars online and I certainly don't want to see this site join the league.
Topics involving debate on how religion contributes to violence (Jihad, for example) need to be allowed.

So today, society in West, India and China (the so called remaining free world) is faced with the same dilemma. How do we allow debate while allowing for respect in religious issues?
This is an attempt to silence and prevent wider awareness (so stealth jihad). It is one step closer to implementing Sharia law in free societies.
Mod's should continue to monitor the website, and known trouble makers (selectively) banned.
