Recently I brought Fossil watch from Eaton Centre (Toronto) for CAD 180 (including HST). I was showing my new watch to my office colleagues and got a shock when they told me that same watch is available on Fossil USA website for USD 115. Same is available @ 35 % discount.
Now I am planning to return this watch and will ask someone from USA to bring the same for me.
Objective of this post is to let fellow CD know the price difference between both the countries and Request you to please share this kind of price difference for other products.
So that we all can save hard earn money by not buying products at higher price.

the better way to save money is to NOT buy this type of expensive junk at all.
you may think you have saved $75 by shopping in the US but you have spent $115 for a watch
Buy a $30 watch from walmart and it will show the same time as well.
In fact why buy a watch at all ? Don't you carry a cell phone ??
From changing watches every alternate day to not wearing watches at all , I feel that watches are a redundant dying accessory these days when every one carries a cell phone ..

The price difference bet. CND & USA is nothing new. Back in 1998/99 the exchange was CND1.45 = USD 1.0, inspite of that I would shop in the US and still save $$. Earlier this month, I paid CND 0.95 and got USD 1.00. What's stopping me from going across the border and shopping.
Anything from a simple cable (wire) to electronics to clothes is generally available cheaper in the US, and if you shop online a lot of the times you gte free shipping and pay no tax.

May be as a jewelry? Rolex would not have existed.
and if you are buying it to see the time, then why not by from dollarama? it shows exact same time that too digitally as $30 watch from walmart 3000% saving
