Hi,
I am from India and currently working in Canada, Planning to apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class.
My US Visitor Visa got rejected couple of times. While filling the application Background Declaration form, there is a question, 'been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent residence visa or visitor or temporary resident visa to Canada or any other country ?', Do I need to answer this question to Yes ? Do they really go and check with US Embassy about the accuracy in case if we dint mentioned anything about it ?

Be honest when answering the question. Hubby got rejected more than 4 times US visit visas. But he did mentioned on his PR application - It doesnt affect your application but shows them u r honest. I had been rejected too few years ago, but once i got my PR, they approved me for 10 yrs. Good luck buddy.
