Hello to all,
Being an IT Business Analyst, I am only eligible for Quebec-Immigration.
My current skills will find me a decent job, but my questions are as follows:-
1. No knowledge of french, for IT professional, is it difficult
2. I am Indian origin so how would I integrate with my family
3. Do I have to stay compulsory in Quebec, I cannot move to other province of Canada say Ontario(Toronto)
4. How about overall lifestyle for asian immigrants
5.Any indian immigrants, which areas are indian immigrants settled
6. Any community centers/associations
7.Schools
8.Cost of Living
Advise highly appreciated

No Yarr!
Captainbeam is wrong.
Canada is a good place for IT professionals. Most of the It professionals in India are either diploma or b.com or B.sc. and are earning at least 60K as starting salary here.
Quebec is a short cut that everyone uses to land and move elsewhere.
Montreal is totally a bilingual place and it is in Quebec.
Lots of companies in Quebec which do dealing is English.
Just apply to move, come and enjoy your life in that cursed (Canada) land.
You will not regret it (as long as you are in IT)
Peace

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
tamilkuravan, you have probably not lived in Quebec at all.
Your advice is misleading.
it is true that Montreal is very cosmopolitan and bilingual to some extent.
but there are quite a bit of limitations.
you won't be able to socialize with your work colleagues.
you won't be able to hang out at usual joints.
you won't be able to make friends other than fellow desi friends, many of who probably know French pretty well actually.
it is also wrong that "lots of companies" deal in English.
even multi national companies are required to support French.
any Quebec based company is likely to be exclusively French.
i have worked for provincial and federal government in Qubec and they were 100% french.
I have worked for a couple of multinationals as well and I'd say French use was over 60% at the least.
however it is probably a moot point since the poster will not be able to get Quebec immigration anyway.
reading a few books on French and listening to audio tapes in your car is not going to be enough to qualify.
