If you have 10years Func Experience that could be helpful to get into SAP Function Consultancy job in Canada/USA
I know there are couple of SAP training Institutes in GTA but before spending $8000 - $10,000 for training you can look into other options
Find below my tips
(1) Look for online SAP training institutes.I already posted in CD regarding the website details. They use to charge $40 as one time registration fee and $12 per course which is very much affordable
(2)After completing main PM related course look for Co Op programs which will help you to gain practical implementation experience
(2)When you are comfortable with complete PM module apply for SAP Certification in PM .This could be after completing course or when you are in Co Op program
(3)Look for job precisely in your expertise area ...like Electronic industry
your case
Remember one thing if you have good functional experience it is not that difficult to get into SAP
If you have PM func experience I would advice you to go for PM module as your func experice will be counted...so far in all my previous project there was always demand for PM consultants due to less people available in the job market.PP is a very complicated module so if you don't have enough experience don't go for that module
Let me know if you need any other info
Thanks

Hello,
My sincere recommendation is not to enter into the SAP market. Currently, there are lots of experienced SAP professionals out there, looking for contracts or jobs. Hands-on experience in full-cycle SAP implementation outweighs your functional experience. I am involved in the recruitment process and understands clearly the needs. Thanks
Regards,
Jay

I am sorry to say but there is still short of resources in PM area
I do understand that it is not very easy to start SAP consultancy in main Func Module (like MM,PP,SD,FI) but being a certified PM consultant with one implemenaton (via co op program option) might help one core Maintanance Engineer to get into SAP world
Another thing is why only SAP consulatnacy /permanent jobs .One might join as a SAP end user in a particular company where SAP already implementaed .As those position mainly filled up by business people at a lower salary most of the hardcode SAP consulant are not intersted .In my company we recruited almost fresh graduate engineers(with 1-2 year industrial experience with little bit ERP esposure in Canada). For end user you don't need to be a master in SAP rather they are trained by standard BPPs(Business Process Procedure) and end user training doc
Even you work as a end user no one is stopping you to shift into actual SAP consultancy job after couple of years .Quite a good number of those so called hardcore SAP consulatant actually learnt SAP as an end user
So my understanding is if any engineer with strong func background want to shift into software world SAP is not at all a bad option
N.B Couple of days back I saw a banner in CD "Learn SAP " ...so I believe some of our members are seriouly considering SAP as career changing tool
