Hi
Is anyone aware of where to get dish antena with receiver to get desi channels like Star, Zee, B4U etc along with videshi channels like BBC, National geographic, CP24, Weathernetwork etc.
Its no use spending almost 40-50 $ per month to Rogers or Bell Express Vu. Its better to spend 200-300 $ once and ....Spend it...fix it...forget it...
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

Pick up any desi local newspaper and you'll see ads for Dishnetwork Satellite. The hardware, programming, installation usually costs between $300-450. Whenever your card gets zapped, $20-50 for reprogamming.
Thanks for your reply. Is there any way to avoid zapping of the programming. Some people have done it but am not aware of how...
Thanx once again

There are some vendors who sell semi-legal systems which do not get zapped. You do not get PPVs and some other channels. There are 7 indian and about 150 western channels. Depending on the vendor, you may get cricket PPVs for free. Avg hardware cost $450-550 and monthy fee $15-30.
Do anybody have an idea that thru these dish we get Telugu channels
SUN TV is a south Indian channel. I think it is Tamil........
East asian channels
SUN TV(TAMIL)
ZEE TV(HINDI)
TVASIA(HINDI+GUJARATI)
SONY(HINDI)
PTV(URDU-PAKISTANI)
ZEE GOLD(HINDI)
B4U(HINDI)
All zappable systems are illegal, it is a theft if you watch that kind of stuff.
