How many times do you "really" need to go to Dentist as compare to Doctor? If the private insurance will pull the plug from Dental coverage, the Dentist in Canada will be at par to the Dentist in India.

Getting Dentist's certification/license is comparatively easier than practicing medicine.

OP needs to do his homework first before deciding where to land. Call few Universities to know the process of certification/license.

Well if you wish to enjoy something , you have to work for it and sacrifice .. Nothing comes free ... Its your choice .. whether you wish to work hard and secure a good life later or slog throughout .

Nice discussion but what most people have left out is the fact that you need to certify as a dentist here in Canada which is no easy process.
The seats are traditionally kept for the majority local population (educated here).
It is as hard as a int. medical doctor.2011 is not the 80's or the 90's.
Personally I know 3 or 4 people who were satisfied in being a technologist but then that is only me.
Peace

There is always an identity crisis if you think so. Unless you live right in your pond, you will be called as Madrasi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi etc. If you are in your particular region, you will be called as Pandit, Baniya etc. It all depends if you notice or not.

Even here, don’t you call others with their origin?

But wait, do you feel ashamed of Asian origin? I don’t feel so and I am proud of being what I am.

Spot on . I was pleased to note in this news report that the single category of people who have managed to not let the employment figures slide are Asians .

No, I dont... apparently you do... good for you!

The objection is not to the categorization.... but with the problems associated with the categorization....
