TK is 100% Right.

That is one striking difference. Indian migrants have less complaints in Australia than in Canada. I know at least two families who migrated from Canada to Australia and seems they are happy.

Is there any thing Canada can or should learn from Australia?

Of course one thing I recommend is, Canada should take Australia as a bench mark for Immigration Forms designing and Processing methods.

In oz you dont need so called OZI experience as compare to canada . People settle and adjust their very quick even corporate s know they need international experience . weather is also similar to India.

At 55 and falling....

The weakness of Indian economy is exposed to the global investor who are becoming much more careful.. If investors start scrambling to pull it back.. it could be a disaster revisited.

Would it be close to 60 by the end of this year ?

Yes, they are predicting for it to be at 60 by the end of 2012. Interesting times are ahead.
