What I heard is the chap was very successful in his real estate business in Brampton. Was moving upwards as selling million dollars property. Also Brampton real estate( rather GTA, York region too) value is jumping in spite of recession like crazy. Perhaps more money more trouble
Devinder has two young daughters and whole life to live. May waheguru give strength to the family.

RIP Devinder.
It seems the PEEL Police have already arrested the suspects.

I think there is learning behind all this incident. I met this guy sometime back in February 2011 at a Open house. He had listed a house worth 5,50,000 in Castlemore (Mcvean and Cotrelle) . He was a nice and decent guy to talk to. After few minutes when I was talking to him, some guys from a particular community(I cant name it) walked in. The house was like rented to them individually room wise. Those guys were not house owner for sure. Those guys were looking in bad shape with their clothes. I was shocked that even if its open house, how these guys are roaming around. I left after some time.
Now I came to know that this guy is murdered by people from same community. I heard he went there to get some rent from them and some confrontation happened over there. The only thing I can say is why the people wanna do business with someone whose credentials you know might not be good. I know many people over here would start giving their opinion that I am labeling whole community, but I wanna say that if majority of ppl from some community are not good then why take a chance with remaining minority among them. Be safe, as family and life comes first then business.

Don’t be naive. World is not black & white. There are lot of grey areas I doubt rent etc was the issue. I too heard about rent non payment reason.
The Chap was a rising star who was dealing in million dollar properties. He could have become a first desi builder or something very soon in GTA.
As for the particular community you are talking about. Good or Bad people are in all communities. I don’t agree with your assessment . I could be wrong in my overall analysis. Police need to find the real motive of his death.

You statement reaffirms my belief that indians are racist to the core but yet like to take every opportunity to complain about the same..

In fact if it were not white or black we like to racially discriminate against each other on religion , if not then on linguistic background..

Infocan: You have full right to either agree or disagree with what I said. I would have sound racist but I found it better to put things in light rather than just holding on to them. I was prepared for few negative responses. Our opinions in life are made by good or bad experiences which happens with us or with others. By saying good or bad people exist in all communities is a general statement which doesn't hold value in real life.
