Hi,
I'm due in Mar 2012 and would like to have my parents to help me during my pregnancy.
Can someone pls share their experiences to avoid rejection scenarios ?
My parents are in India and my father hasn't paid any IncomeTaxes till date.
Also, can some pls tell how much liquid cash should they show in their bank accounts and how many months of bank statements should they show in their accounts ?
Should they show a complete 6 month bank statement ?
I shall be really thankful if someone can provide info !!
Hi Bloopink,
This question have been asked and answered before on CB's discussion board. I have prepared visa application based on information available on CB's discussion board.
Neverthelss, here is the required information:
My parents have recently applied for Multiple Entry Visa and same have been issued within 3 weeks from New Delhi Office
I have submitted following documents along with the application
1. Invitation letter (notarized but not mandatory) - it cost 15 dollar
2. Job letter stating duration and yearly pay
3. Six month bank account statement (chequing + saving)
4. Copy of PR card
5. Copy of Notice of assessment 2010
6. Copy of Salary slips for past 6 pay periods (i.e. 3 months)
7. Bank balance Certificate
8. Parents' Investment Summary (simple spread sheet giving investment total with few details)
9. Parents’ bank statement
Please refer VFS web site for information on documents.

Use of VFS’s service is not mandatory. They charge 750 INR per application
Bank Statement - I think it is better to submit 6 months bank statement. So they can verify that you have stable income and a healthy balance.
Balance - not sure but 20k should be enough
Hope your questions are answered.
