Proof of funds at landing- Will bank statements be ok?

Hello all

a quick qestion about proof of funds that we have to show while "landing" in Canada.

Do I necesarrily have to carry the whole amount with mes or can I carry 50% with myself in cash/TCs and show the rest in form of my Indian bank account statement?

Please advise. Than you very much for your time and input.

Bank statements will not be sufficient. You have to bring drafts/travellors cheque or cash
