tamilkuravan- Guys like you go back to india dont contribute anymore to this country but still want freebies from canada..
You should stop thinking about this place as you decided to go back. Concentrate on your life and improvements in India.
Everyone is entitled to freebies, but some abuse the privilege
Nothing in life is free. I guess a small amount of Canadians don't pay into the system but the rest of us pay pretty dearly for all our "freebies".

My prayer to you
Is that you do all the things you set out to do
And live your life the way you love

Regarding Freebies,
I am paying CAD $ to get my passport renewed, so I guess I am entitled to ask.
Anyways, Since I just spent 9 years in Canada (instead of the 10 required as of now), I may not be able to get my OAS. I may also not take my CPP as I will not live for atleast 6 months in a year in Canada to claim it. All this is money into the pockets of hard working Canadians. So why should I need see if the govt. is giving me a cut for what my cadre does. We astill can vote to elect politicians and hence they will not treat us lightly.
I wish I could melt all the waste snow of Canada and lower the temperature as well as supply clean water to the people of Tamil Nadu whose govt. educated me at a concessional rate.
Peace

CPP can be delivered outside Canada if you have lived in Canada for atleast10 years. This is my understanding. Otherwise you will have to be in Canada for atleast 183 days in every one year period to receive it.
Guru's, Please google and let us know.

My thanks for the person who did this work for me to clarify about CPP. But it does not say anything about if they will send CPP to your home country until you die, if you have partly worked and lived in Canada for a period less than 10 years.

Here is the total scenario of CPP and OAS benefits and how they go about paying them.
Some new changes are in the works and take effect 1st Jan 2012.
Canada's Pension Plan and Canada Old Age Security Plan provide a guaranteed income for seniors.

If you live outside Canada, you must have been a Canadian citizen or legal resident when you left the country, and you must have lived in Canada for at least ***20 years, after you turned 18.
