Hi All,
i work in oilfield & go to my my work site for 5 weeks. After that , i come back to my home for my 5 weeks vacation in Brampton. I want to utilise this 5 week for some productive work for me which can also give me some income & keep me busy.Any suggestion/Advice are welcome.

I work in continental shift and have lots of time during weekdays and weekends. I am also looking for something like this.

I had plan to market some companies products but have not started anything. If you find something and need a helping hand, i will love to do something together. I also live in brampton.

I am not interested in MLM type of things for some reason. But if you like it there are chains of britt, Amway and ACN in brampton.

1- I am not intrested in any kind of selling/Amway etc/etc/Any type of commision work.
2- I will keep you in mind for a helping hand if i can find something.
3- My money expectation are not very high as that will be my part time work, therefore i am not willing to invest huge amount of money like opening a store etc.
Any further ideas/suggestion.

As you age, you may not have interest to work in this schedule you are currently on and might already in thoughts to switch to a regular 9 to 5 / 5 days schedule as a Prime though.

If it is so, You could invest your time on things where you should be next. Would be a better idea if it relates to your career or skill set one or other way.

I was in similar situation with respect to considerable free time, I experimented certain things and they didn't do well. Later, I confined myself only to things that are related to my career and am quite happy about it.

Social / Community service at a local organization, is also something you could add it up, its returns are beyond comprehensible.

Unfortunately with my skill set , me getting into 8-5 /5 days week is quite remote. however, as i am doing this job since long & I can manage few more years so that I can retire . yes, i agree with you venturing in other field is not quite.

I dont have experience with these but many take on grocery store, shoppers drug mart cashier jobs. Also, there is working in a restaurant. But that may not be for everyone. Working in a gas station is another option. 24 hour grocery stores are always looking for night workers. I would be interested in the kinds of leads you would find in this situation.

Not many employers would like to employ you for a month only and then again look for replacement. It costs money and time to recruit and train.
In your kind of situation you may do taxi driving. That is one profession which you can discontinue and start on your whim. if you own a taxi , its your own side business.
You can also be real estate agent or insurance but you vanishing in between the deals or not taking calls will annoy your customers.
Other option is to do studies if you want a career switch but again you cannot take full time studies.
