Laxman Savadi is a goon/rowdie in his town Athani, from where he won. As soon as he came to know that he was caught, he made sure through his goons that no newspaper reached his constituency, Athani. No newspaper reached within the 45 km radius of Athani. Power was cut to the town so that people cant watch the tv where number of channels were carrying the story. He is the minister for cooperation sector. Another minister C.C. Patil who also watched the clip for a brief period, is the minister for woman and child welfare. Huh! what kind of MLAs are elected. Those who voted for these should be blamed. Another minister, K. Palemar also resigned as he was the one who sent the clip to Savadi.

What kind of people are these? Looks like these folks have a bad upbringing. Lot of Indians are brought up badly. They refuse to learn or grow up. Getting caught in scandals is not new to the BJP govt in the state of Karnataka. Minister Renukacharya was caught with a nurse named Jayalaxmi. He had illicit relationship wth her. Another former minister H. Halappa is under investigation for a rape case (with his friend's wife). Now these three. What next? Making the assembly building a brothel? You never know.

BJP should be ashamed of this. They preach to others, but their house is in a mess. This shows their double standard. Where is RSS in the whole issue? Mohan Bhagwat is keeping mum. RSS used to be a good outfit, not anymore I guess.

Looks like the state BJP will handle the issue with kids gloves because of the wafer thin majority they have in the assembly.
What sort of example the tainted ministers are leaving for the officers and lower rung employees, especially the IPS to the sub-inspector and constable in the police department. It is because of such rowdy elements elected as people's representatives ,we see rape and custodial deaths in police stations.

Whom to blame. All parties are the same. India needs a political revolution to a much bigger magnitude followed by a complete systematic overhaul ranging from a lower cadre Babu to the IAS and Polititians. I wonder if it happens during my lifetime. I don't have a slightest of hope.

More educated, wealthy or powerful, more we believe it does not apply to us. We outsourced our governance first to the Moghuls, then to the English and now to whomever wants to sit on the throne.
