Any idea where to settle in Vancouver ?? where we can find more indian community ?

If you're only looking for Indian community, then head to Surrey. If you can afford, my recommendation is to live someplace near the Skytrain station in Vancouver, Burnaby, or Richmond (in order of preference). For merely a quality of life purposes, go for North and West Vancouver.

Unfortunately, you laid out very limited criteria, so couldn't help much. If only you could provide with:

1. What is your budget?
2. Where is your workplace?
3. If you're a new immigrant, your focus should be to find a job and the ideal place would be the place I mentioned above.
4. Would you ply on the public transit or have your own car? I know eventually you'd have your own car, but access to public transit never goes wrong.
5. How much inclination you have for using public transit?

Indian Community or Punjab = Surrey

I prefer Richmond, very clean and no crime

Depending upon the skills but Calgary and Edmonton are great place for work prospective. Keep yourself flexible in move so do not sign long lease or any kind of commitment just after landing.
