Hello,

I probably have a unique situation that I would like to have an advise:

My sons name is Prem Rahul and my first name is Rahul(which is quite common in my place)...he is 10yrs old and was born in India..in his Indian passport the surname space is empty and 'Prem Rahul' is entered as Given Name.
Now I am in Canada, came here through workpermit and also we have got PR...all my sons entry visa, PR card and SIN all carries the same name with no Surname entered...but i do enetered Rahul as his last name when asked like school or in medi center or like....but i realise the problem when I tried to open an RESP in the bank as they have to have something under surname...and putting 'Rahul" doesnt match with the SIN card name.
So I am not sure how I could get the surname shown in the PR/Sin card before I apply for the citizenship which I am now eligible to apply.
