I have noticed a lot of Expat Indo Canadians ( Canadian citizens of indian origin, who returned back due to lack of good job are still fixated on Canada.

example 1 -- A person who lost Canadian PR, was almost always on this forum posting repeatedly and the feel of loss of PR was very evident.

example 2 -- Most well known forum member 'tamilkuravan' whom we all know returned back to India is always on this forum even now. The aspect of missing Canada is evident.

I think if they had good opportunities relevant to their skills, they would have stay put. Even if they now have a suitable job in India ( which they had in first place before they immigrated to Canada) so the rationale of immigration was not just the job. I think they are missing the life style and quality aspect. That is what pulls their thoughts back to Canada.

Not really.
We donot have that much working in India.
My collegues are working 2 hours a day and that too in private sector.
I visit the site to see how immigrants are suffering in Canada. I get a lot of pleasure by reading your stories.
Just before, I saw your post as to how people are suffering for health care in Canada.
your country's (Canada) interest rate is too low. You work long hours. You are in buries in snow. White people donot know intermarriage with you. You pay for insurance through your nose. If you hit a vehicle, then your insurance goes sky high and you need to take the bus.
Phone bill are too large. You canot celebrate holi, diwali. You canot walk to your relatives home and see them.
Peace

TK: If reading about suffering immigrants is what gives you pleasure in life...you have a far bigger problem on your hand.:)

What I suffered for 9 years in that God cursed land, let many more suffer.
I have warned so many people about the sufferings in place in Canada (except for rich people, IT, Finance, Accounts and businessman), but still if they suffer and continue to post their sufferings in CD, I will come by to watch and offer solace for them.
Peace

I know TK had a bad time in Canada .. and I always sorry for that but I never expected this kind of mail and mindset from TK which is very unfortunate. I do not want to get into personal but couldn't stop writing few things ... it is like a failed batsmen wants to see others fail and gets pleasure out of it. I guess he must have surrendered the citizenship of Canada by this time as it is right thing to do since he didn't have any positive feelings about the country from where he took his passport. ( of course it is personal and not my business).

Canada is not god cursed land .... in fact it is blessed land. Thousands of people from all over world came and made this beautiful country. It is a huge beautiful land and one of the best places in the planet to settle and raise family. Success or failure depends more upon each individual's traits, assessment and abilities rather on a place ...

No hard feelings TK.

Goldeneye is 100% correct. People who left Canada after staying few years ... always spend lot of time thinking and knowing more things of Canada , wants to hear failed stories, tell negative things about Canada .... but same time they don't really severe the ties. I know people who supposedly left Canada for good again wants to come back and struggle to keep or renew their status in Canada and eventually developing split personality.
