Actually Ramar2005 and other critiques are so ardent a fan of Sachin , that they want him to play from ball one to last, bowl like mad horse and field at 10 places (immediately after throwing ball) at a time to win matches for India else he should make way for Sadgoppans and Woorkeris.

Atleast for me it solves the mystery of Rajnikanth's popularity !!

Sachin was sitting, flanked by the Ambanis for the felicitation function. Speaker after speaker showered praise on him, and he kept giggling all the time,as if someone was tickling him. This was a typical Kollywood type function but seems this culture caught up with Bollywood too.
Glad that Sadagoppans and Woorkeris did whatever they could and faded away from the test scene. Otherwise, they too would have lost fans' respect.
Actually, it will only be captain's worry to hide Sachin in the field. Whenever the ball is hit in his direction there will be a single. He can neither dive nor throw fast. Whatever runs he scores,the opp. side can make up from his fielding.
But his bowling will be turning point. Being blue eyed boy of BCCI, he can bowl off-breaks, leg-breaks, medium pace, in the same over. But finally, it will be full toss or long hop, hit for boundaries. Will really help in the opp. batsman to settle down.
Finally, Rajnikant's popularity is because of the success and prosperity he brings for himself and people around him. He is able to coalesce positive energy around him. How he does that will always remain mystery.

One need to first earn even to loose the respect, these guys never shine so no need of fading and they never earned the respect so no question of loosing it. It is just that some loosers and non achievers cannot see Sachin on top due to jealousy.

The problem is Sachin gets content with all these praises on a daily basis and does nothing for the team. Otherwise, they would not have lost all these tests recently. He neither got motivated by Rahul Dravid who scored 3 centuries in England, nor with those of the opponents which were even double and triple hundreds.
When all those opp.batsmen and Rahul Dravid performed on the same pitch, we can understand why he could not.
It is because he is really NOT that great as he is touted to be.
