) true all comments above....its such a debatable topic and yet perhaps there is no conclusion! good and bad in both places...the minute we go there, we want to run back and when we are here, we think of our land )) But true, that India has grown quite a bit, with regards to the jobs and salaries and economy, purchasing power of the people has increased tremendously, all multinational brands are now available in the malls, supermarkets have it all...just the infrastructure, poverty and corruption that has things screwed...!! Probably lucky are those u came in earlier and managed to get their whole clan here! Or probably the best to do is not wind up entirely- keep ur house there, so eventually u can return or shuttle between the two.

The same struggle you intend to do in Canada, if u do in India then you have much higher chances of success based on the economies of the two countries. In 90s Canada's quality of life used to be no. 1 but not anymore and the people who immigrated in those times were lucky when third world countries were struggling.

I will refer a story which I heard very recently from a genuine source. This is real story (by the way) it has happened in the past.
Here the story goes:
There was a big island where natives used to live, & they used to defend their motherland at all costs. No one could attack them & win. They defeated everyone one who dared to look at their island.
Once, an Army came in ships, & after taking their belongings & ammunition out of the ship, the commander ordered the Army to burn all the ships & completely destroy it. Once all the ship were destroyed, there was only one option left: either you fight & be victorious or die and be martyr. there was no other option (cannot escape as the ships are gone).
Do you believe what was the outcome. They fought tooth & nail, & the natives lost.
Motive: If you have a exit route, You will very rarely succeed.
Same thing for those people going back to India, if they have something left here in Canada, they will not succeed in India, they might come back. So, those going back to India, must burn all their Canadian ship before departing from Canada.
Make up your mind one way or the other & than burn the ship.
Its a Do or Die................. nothing else..
YES!! After winning you can make your own ship & sail back (but you gotta win first). Like I have seen many people who have gone back to India are very happy & traveling to various places worldwide for leisure (part of luxury)
Mind you: life has 3 needs:
first its Necessity;
than comes Comfort,
only than is Luxury.

Good and true - I like "After winning you can make your own ship & sail back " for the winners.
