For three days no one bothered to answer the post.
I posted a reply and now people start blaming me saying I am ridiculing.
*********************************************************
We replied because you were rediculing another brick in the wall.
Canada is a land of immigrants. Not all immigrants know English and Canada understands this.
I donot know if you have ever been to the ESL/HRDC of Canada. In that there is a poster which shows the picture of Albert Einstein and he saying " I was a refugee". So this clearly proves that Canada helps people irespective of language, educational skills and creed.
Canada immigration centres have translators and also some people whose written skills are poor are good in talking.
Donot be a judge.Leave it to Canada.

Peace

No harm meant... Just an observation by a person who came to this blessed land that is Canada..... And left one job spot available for a local Indian to enjoy back in India....

**********************************************************
I would have to correct you on that.
Currently I am working in a job spot that could have gone to a local Indian.
However, having said that , there are 4 spots in my department which could have gone to local Indians but have been taken up by American (Desi) citizens. I am glad to have my spot taken by a Canadian as :
1. I work better, more deligently, more cleverly than the Americans
2. My spot would have gone to a American, if I choose not to have taken up this job .

Peace

Dear TK,

I clearly stated that ESL is more for refugees and Family category immigrants

Skilled workers are supposed to have some level of fluency in either English or French.

And that is the reason now we have English and French Tests for people applying to immigrate.

You immigrated at a time when people were asked to mark their own proficiency. Now CIC has tightened the rules.

I am not a judge here, I am just stating the facts

As I said earlier - this is not ridiculing somebody. This is to inform them of the choices they have. Can't be more clear to you than that

Now if you kindly stop your personal attacks on me ...

Happy Easter to you

and Peace be with you

While I bit of agree with BB that improvement is required, but more than that I would like laud the efforts by githa.baby. Collecting all those certificates, clearances and taking ielts needs lot of effort. That is appreciable.

Githa.baby in case you are still on forum - You need to check your total points after scoring 5.0 in IELTS , initially you must have counted 16, 12 or 8 for language skills, seems like you lost some of those points. Pls check if you are scoring enough marks to sail through.
Answering to your question on what percent of chance you have to get PR ? percentage wise its either 0% or 100% chance , there is nothing in between. your total score above below 67 is the indicator.

If I'll be you, I'll take another Ielts after taking a bit of coaching and send the improved result to CIC.
