Job Description / Accountabilities



The Business Analyst will work with the various business and technology partners throughout the various project and pre-project phases. The primary focus of the role is to provide research, analysis and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.

Elicit requirements through strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Manage requirements for multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
Assume a key role on behalf of the EPMO Clarity Project team to analyze, develop and recommend business and technical solutions which support business goals.
Performs work on all aspects of the business analyst process from end to end.
May work on highly complex projects with support from other analysts.
Actively communicate and works effectively with partners to ensure that business risks, impacts and constraints are identified and mitigated.
Understand the functional and technical specifications.
Contribute to the active achievement of business strategy, goals and objectives.
Prioritizes and manages own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
Promote Change Management methodology to ensure partners embrace change.
Solid communication and facilitation skills.
Actively contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

Familiar with TD’s PMLC and SDLC
Sound knowledge of business analysis principles and practices.

Display an ability to influence others to a desired outcome through building persuasive arguments based on logic and facts, coupled with the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs and concerns of others.
Display flexibility to adapt to, and work effectively within, a variety of situations, and with various individuals or groups.
Organizational skills, capable to multitasking and ability to deliver high quality work under pressure.
Ability to problem solve, influence, collaborate and negotiate to deliver results.
Strong business writing skills that focus on clarity
Previous work on projects of all tiers from business case to implementation.
Member of the Business Analysis Community of Practice.
Sound knowledge of business analysis principles
Sound knowledge of technical environments and applications.
Sound knowledge of tools (e.g., WBS, Use Case, Visio, MS Office).
Basic understanding TD Bank group and enterprise analysis.
