One thing for sure, your speeding ticket will show in driving record for next three years.

it happened to me as well in 2008.

Your insurance company definately will track your record before renewal and based on your driving record insurance company will set your new policy.

good idea atleast fight for ticket and rid off your demerit points otherwise you will be in more trouble in renewal time.

all the best...

In all three cases:

Trip #1 - to file a form requesting an appointment with the prosecutor.
Trip #2 - See the prosecutor for 3 minutes who reduced the fine and removed the points, wait for 30 or so minutes, appear before the judge, agree to pay the reduced amount, pay the amount and walk out.

Our insurance did not go up and I don't know if the insurance company audited our records during renewal or not.

Did you have to say anything to prosecutor..giulty or not guilty, how and why mistake happened ?

The prosecutor told me to plead guilty. It was more of a 3 minute very friendly chat with prosecutor. No explanation or nothing. He asked if my wife had good driving records and I said yes all three times (barring the three tickets, that is). It seemed more to me as a legal money grab than anything else. They got money and we got no points.
