BTW, If I remember correctly...
Hanumanji had pain/injury in his left ankle, as he lifted a mountain to provide "jaddibutti" for Laxmanji in a battlefiled.
Even in Hanumanji's complete chitra, his one leg is partly lifted from the ground.
So, OIL is offered as a massage agent for his left ankle.
Almost, same thing we do, when one near and dear one (like parents, family, friends, even unkwon eldetly) has pain in their body and joints (by applying ointment), to get them out of pain and make them happy and smiling and, get their blessings/well wishes.
I have seen several (repeat several) people praying to Hanuamji while standing on their one foot (Rt foot on ground and left foot in air / partly lifted from ground).
It's faith and devotion of an individual to please Hanumanji (In Hindu religion, HE is also known as "always present GOD even in Kalyug".
Faith, devotion and religion are indivisual's points of belief. No questions asked to challange it. It can be asked just as a curiosity with absolute respect.
Thanks for reading.

Ae Bhai/bhenji Daavidy, can you change the subject of original post..
"To put in OIL in Hanuman Temple... in Toronto" what the heck...
"Which temple in Toronto allows you to offer oil to Hanumanji?" or
Which place I can offer oil to Bajaranbali in Toronto?
sounds more appropriate...

nope.. pure fun ! it was good discussion , I am glad I asked that question. It clarified many a things. I do not blame NM for what he wrote. We have all kind of people with various viewpoints. On the bar of fanatics to progressive it is a personal choice where you want to sit ! At the same time, not sure how many of us agree that science would'nt have moved much by now if all would have clung to religious beliefs.
