Any suggestion where to buy the recommend modem for decent price if want to be a Teksavvy customer and don't want to purchase their modem.

Else, I don't mean to have an ad about wanted or sell here, but just wondering if someone has used Teksavvy and no longer customer and wanted to sell the modem, pls PM me only. Don't try to sell or buy on this thread pls. Thanks!

Just look up on Kijiji and redflagdeals. You'll get tons of it. Just be sure to buy the right one i.e. DSL modem vs Cable modem

Just want to clarify some facts..

Distributel has been bought out by Acanac.

Someone mentioned Acanac is bell, It is not true.
Acanac is a reseller of DSL and Cable internet (Bell or Rogers in ontario)

Just switch to Acanac from Rogerstoday.. Was a smooth switch, no down time.
Signed up for a year @ 694$ for the 28Mbps service . Got the 1 year Voip phone free.

The Voip service clarity is better than Rogers home phone.
Internet service is faster than the plan i had with Rogers

I found Acanac to be very satisfactory and cheapest.
They do not have a service response over the weekend.
They used to give free dry loop, but it seems they have discontinued it.

In certain situations, you need a guaranteed upload speed; that one is available only from Bell in their Bell Fibe Internet 25/10 package at under $70/mo. As far as I know, Cable does not offer a guaranteed upload speed. You have to ask Bell if it is available in your area.

Although Techsavvy and Acanac are Bell partners (resellers) they DO NOT offer this product.
