Hi Friends,
I am bit worried these days as my mother has to apply for visitor Visa/ Super Visa for the very first time. She lives in India alone and I am here in Toronto on PR. I will be really grateful to you guys if you could reply these concerns. My concerns -
1) I am confused if she should apply for Super Visa or Regular Visitor Visa. Please advise
2) Do you know anyone who has applied for parents' supervisa or Regular Visitor Visa? If yes, please help me connect with them. My e-mail id is gaurav.canadiandesi@yahoo.com.
3) I checked CIC and VFS site for documents for both visas, but for me it was highly confusing to find what documents she need to provide and what documents I need to provide. Its not given very clearly on the website. Please let me know what documents she need to provide and I need to provide
4) She is alone in India and is 68 by age, she is not that much literate to understand the documentation process over the phone and there is no one to help her, I was wondering if I should hire a consultant in New Delhi, India. Can you suggest some good consultant who has full knowledge about Visitor Visa/ Supervisa documentation?
5) Do you know any good consultant who has office in both Toronto/GTA and New Delhi and could get all documentation done smoothly
6) If I choose visitor visa, should I go for Single entry visa or multiple entry visa? (She will applying 1st time)
7) How much minimum savings for supervisa and Visitor visa she need to show
8) In Supervisa, the minimum income threshold (Low income cut off) of the child should be before tax or after tax?
9) For minimum Income Threshold per annum, How do they calculate the year? Is it last 12 months before the date of application or Jan to Dec Calender year?
10) For child documents, do they need tax returns or only salary slips will do? If they need tax returns, that means they consider calender year (Jan to Dec) for calculating last 12 months. And If they need salary slips, that means they consider last 12 months from the date of application
11) If she has supervisa, can she apply for Regular visitor visa anytime? (This I am asking because if it is possible she will have an option to visit Canada without Insurance if she is coming on a short visit
12) Do I get refund for Insurance for the days my mother will not stay in Canada?
13) Can I stop paying insurance once she leaves Canada?
14) The Insurance premium is paid for entire one year or month wise?
