Hello All,
While parents on work permit, if the baby is born in Canada can PIO be applied for the baby or only visitor visa is possible? I believe OCI cannot be applied because both the parents are on work permit.
Under OCI eligibility its clearly mentioned that minor children cannot apply for OCI if the parents hold Indian passports but there is nothing as such mentioned for PIO criteria.
Anyone had same situation before?
Cheers.
Parents on work permit, child born in Canada.

Its actually the PIO and for your info VFS will not handle PIO, you need to submit it directly in the consulate in Toronto.

Hello FH,
Help me understand why do I need the notorized authorization to move around with the baby? Of course we do carry the birth certificate with us while crossing borders for the proof for parentage.
