Hi All

Before I start I would like to congratulate members of CanadianDesi for its successful meeting which took place at Vimal's (BIOMED) place. Special thanks to Vimal and his family for contributing their time, place and efforts to organize such a community event. The meeting was definately a success as it did achieve the purpose of bringing new immigrants and settled immigrants together on the same platform. Lots of discussion took place and I am sure the outcome will definately shape canadian desi better for future.One can safely say that canadian desi is going to go long way. There is no comparision with meeting people face to face!! I had missed the first meeting but i am glad that i was part of second one & I look forward for the third one as well.

I am going to complete my two months on 13th of this month and time has just passed so quickly. I guess only first two or three weeks were slow but after that time started to fly off. I had stayed initially at Bed & Breakfast appartment and now i have taken appartment in North York Area. With the grace of God I have found job in my field two weeks ago. After getting job days in canada have started to look little brighter and I am also getting used to the system. In short I would like say that Canada has welcomed me with a positive note. (TouchWood !!!!).

Kudos 2 all of u 4 arranging yet another successful get 2 gether .Its been a detrmined and admirable effort on every1 s part -- the hosts as well as the participants . Great going as this strengthens the New -Old Imigrants Bond 4 common benefit . I wish v , deprived lot cud learn of beneficial issues discussed .

Congrats Manjeet on ur sucessful foray in2 Canada. U were missed on the forum 4 the past few weeks . 2 weeks & a job in ur own field -- wow must b a record of sorts . Great going & keep it up !!

Today’s meeting was a great success. 70 Canadian Desi attended this meeting . We had a very meaningful discussion. Details of this meeting would be posted very soon at Canadiandesi. Com.

Thanks to all the team members @ canadian desi - the meeting was a big success.

I tried clicking on the link - given but it showed as group error. Maybe, it would be a while before that is done.

May we have more of such purposeful meetings in future.
