Abhi chita kee aag bhe nahi bhuji ththeee kee SS saraa dukh bhool ke, apney kaam parr lagg gayee and ransacked a clinic of third person !
Mr. Thackrey deserved respect, no doubt (and I am not mumbaikar !), girls played stupid for sure. But legalities and democratic rights were ignored from step a to z. inquiry and outcome is going to be even more implausible, dekhtey jao !
I am pleasantly surprised that there are so many SS bashers and defenders of freedom of speech. I wonder how these liberals would react if father/family members of any of these defenders were to die and if someone from the locality were to make FB post saying "my neighbor died. I do not care. He was one of the many who died today" Lol!

Agree to your point. Freedom is not license for anyone to curb the true essence of democracy. The law should punish the ones who take it for granted-----------------------------------------------------------------

Well said.
People from the minority community become very vocal about freedom of speech, fundamental rights etc., but would want their sentiments to be respected when it concerns their own religion.

What happened in Mumbai was shamefull but what is more shocking is support this action is getting here in Canada. Guess some people are beyond redemption.

Just to clarify, I never supported what happened to the gals afterwards but completely disagree to their acts as well. One positive outcome of this issue is that there is more awareness on what you do on social media. It rocked the Romney's campaign..anyhow.
It is no secret that you are Canadian spokesperson of India's congress party. May be your elderly/father figure is a congress leader there. What congress is doing with this issue is trying to divert the sympathy vote into luring the youth vote by making them believe that their right to freedom of speech violeted, which was never an issue. If somebody would have made the same comment on Indira or Rajiv, the reaction would be far more cunning and worst. They cannot even tolerate comments about Italian leather.
It is much more shocking to still support congress even here in Canada when its leaders are robbing India and while doing so diverting the people into minor issues. Majority of scams are taking backseat. From Emergency (Congress to Congress -I), Bofors, 2G, Coal, confidence vote, Chidambaram, FDI, Adarsh etc...list goes on and on and you know it very well..how they are expert in diverting the attention from main corruption scandals to something minor like this to get into power. How long and how far this will go on? This bhasamasur of divide/rule and diverting the attention from main issues not only going to harm them or their predecessors but India as whole. They better put their acts together and think of country because they live in the same country. (I know they might send their children to Canada not only to protect them from corruption but to put good face of congress).
