Need Help - While installing Satellite TV Bell Technician Damaged the Roof

Bell representative called me and told me that, their professional experts are telling that, rukoons have damaged i.e. pic taken proves it.They also told me that, technician did not touch that area which is wrong since tin flap was up after technician left and before that, everything was alright. They closed the case.
Can rukoons bend the rod and bring the tin flap up? Is the case worth fighting for? I feel like putting a case on mental torture coz my husband will make me pay heavily for this mistake of going to bell against his wishes. Last time, I went against him and paid for new windows of the condo, he separated his account from my account.I am paying very high price for coming to Canada.

Racoons could do significant damages to the roof. Just do the google image search on damages caused by Racoons and if some of the images sort of matches with how your roof looks like then you should call Bell and thank the technician for pointing it out. The techinician could have left without even mentioning about the damage and one fine day you might have found roof leaking. And after thinking more about it why would technician bend the rod you are referring here and after doing that he would let you know to take a look? He is just being honest and wanted to warn you about the damage.
I think more than damage you are more concerned about your husaband outburst. Seems more like personal family feud and you should deal with it yourself.
Again compare the pictures and damages and go back and thank the techinician for letting you know and the customer service prez who immediately responded to your request and to me
(ok you can ignore me but bell deserves a thank).As far as hubby, sue him for giving you mental torture , from what you are writing here I think the relationship is more of compromize/arrangement and getting worst day by day....

A woman went shopping, At cash counter she opened her purse to pay. The cashier noticed a TV remote in her purse. He cud'nt control his curiosity n asked "Do u always carry ur TV remote with u?" She replied " No, not always, but my husband refused to accompany me for shopping today..
SO The story continues....The shopkeeper smiles and takes back all the items that lady had purchased. Shocked at this act, she asks the shopkeeper what is he doing. He said your husband has blocked your credit card.

This discussion sounds interesting and I wonder in which direction it is progressing. The member was asking for some legal recource process and got free advices on maintaining relationship with spouse and she became butt of jokes. I understand for a desi these advices comes naturally.
@indocanadian1:- desis are expert in giving free personal advice( only meant for others), they have natural talent. They are others family matter expert. You could have left mentioning about the feelings of your husband on the issue. Since it was not required for the redressal of greviance.
About the damage of your roof thyou can do this-
1st Scenario
1. Take photographs with date on it. Consult an expert about the cause of the demage. If possible get his report in writing. If the expert says that it is new damage and can be caused by a human being then the last person on roof to work was bell guy.
2. Send a notice to Bell mentioning all the details and stating that you are going to repair the roof if they do not repair in next 7 days, you would get it repaired at their cost and would claim that money from them.
3. Wait for 7 days for response. I am sure that bell will do nothing.
4. Get your roof repaired and take bill.
5. Go to court and be prepared to fight a long litigation. You may have to miss your work, may have to hire a money thirsty lawyer, may have to pay for parking charges,court fee, witness expense etc etc.
2nd Scenario
Get the damage assessed and if the damage is not too much in terms of money, get it repaired. Going to court or following up with bell may waste valuable time,money and personal agony. It is a saying that nobody can tell which side a camel will sit, same way you never know which way the court decide after all your efforts. There is no guranteed result in court matters. Just because a bell guy worked on your roof it will not be presumed by judge that he caused the damage.
What I learnt a while back ?

Welocome to the club! From the posts OP wanted to bring the dirty laundry in the public forum. And a user commenting/categorizing desis makes himself put into the same category. BTW advises were given on both the issues and they did work for OP.
And AshwaniG the story continues but wife gets the last laugh when husband becomes desperate for his night time hobby and wife simply comes out of shower only wearing towel....moral: respect, rather enjoy each other's hobbies

They could. I have clearly seen a roof of my neighbour having heavily damaged by Raccons. Actually from my house it was very visible and ocassionally we were seeing Raccons active in that area.
If it is really caused by Raccons, it is quite easy to figure out. If it shows a gradual wear and tear that is fading in the surrounding area, it might be Raccons, and it the damage is just on the spot, it could be a human.
Make a judgement call.
