Suggest a RECOGNIZED place to study medicine for Doctorate outside Canada?

I am planning to pursue my study in medicine to become a Doctor in Canada. One has to spend more years to study medicine here rather than doing the same from US or Dominican.
Does someone know which is a good place to pursue medicine outside Canada? I am looking for a place which is recognized in Canada once i complete my Doctorate.
Please suggest?
