Can-De,
I have gone back to India and hence I am justified with my comments about Canada.

Now after having come back to India I signed up with a shrink to cure my depression and simultaneously started looking for a job only to realize that the Indian economy is presently doing worse than the Canadian economy (in relative terms) and that I haven’t received even a single interview call in 2 months in Delhi.
I am now contemplating moving back to Canada leaving my wife and child behind and checking out the job market there. This time I am better prepared and willing to do survival jobs as well for some time. I am reasonably well funded and willing to a do a short term course as well if it improves my job prospects.
Any advice (both positive and negative) is highly appreciated from fellow desis on whether I should try out my luck in Canada or should stay in India.
Thanks,

I liked Elmer Fudd's reply. Everyone can post their views and no one has the right to tell folks to get out of here if they are not happy. It is for oneself to decide when to come and go. Nothing is free. If one has followed the immigration cycle, one has invested money (immigration fees and other landing/settlement expenses), time and age (very very expensive) etc. So it is a personal choice to tell their experience here. My only comment is that it should be relevant to the blog topic.
It's been over three years for me in Canada. Each has been over different time periods but this time I am planning to stay longer. How long only time will tell. Currently I am enjoying the food, air and less crowded streets of the Halifax in Atlantic Canada. My only complaint is the long time taken for experienced professionals to get jobs. I am employed but my spouse is not. She finally landed some volunteer work and completed it in her line of work (HR). Even that took over a year to get with repeated visits to the local Access employment site here. So it is more of a tortoise story around here unless you want to be the hare and fake some experience.
Excellent post by : Elmer Fudd
It simply summarizes the whole thing and makes sense every part of it.
After reading this post, I was wondering how much percentage of Indians return back home once for all.
