Taxi Driver who has 4 kids , a house and rents basement for cash... or may be a truck driver as well ... Unsalaried people who pay less taxes and get more Govt benefits beat the system.

Or .. switch your career to Accounting / IT ...

The guy who finished my basement, is around 45 yrs old, and living in a 600K paid off house. His next door neighbor is a Honda Technician. The gas technician who connected the fireplace in my basement, came in Hummer.

This is the reason that I suggest the new immigrants to keep their ego asides and get into any grey collar job, if you can.

Business always has the potential for substantially higher income. Only caveat is "its should be done properly"..
Now what business one can do is, entirely a persons skills, resources, means, etc...

One suggestion "Form a consortium, & buy mining rights in the north, way-up probably Nunawat. YOu will be eligible for substantial benefits from Govt.. & then you can take the rights to market, & eventually play in millions"..

You dont afford Hummer but you can afford to hire people who have Hummer .
I recall a speech from Bill Gate : I am not a college topper but all college toppers works for me ..

BTW if I am not mistaken Q from Febreet was for OP as he is looking for some help .
