I would no agree to the fact that a MLA of AAP or any other party should have a term of just 1 terms (4 or 5 years). This is not correct. No one will come to public life just for 5 years and then fade as a common man. The society is money minded these days (nothing wrong with that). The people can throw the MLA out, if he does not perform.
Other problem is that if MLA is restricted to one term, he may want to steal the max. money that he can in 5 years and run away. Also he canot make significant contribution to the society if he is in power for only 1 terms.
Hope this helps.
Peace by Murali
With you on that.

Lol! San-hugo has mellowed down. Already accepted that AAP will not come to power. At least there is one post election survey that says that AAP will win majority. I think he is surrendering little prematurely.
I agree with San-Hugo that AAP is for a long haul. More they stay in politics, more they will be able to extort. Their main investor Prashant Bhushan and his father are known extortionist. If one has been familiar with Indian politics and its under currents, they would know this for a fact.

Huh, just because you are confused to the core and easily swayed by the media survey, do not think I have same fickle mind. I can clearly and firmly diffrentiate between corrupt and non-corrupt, communist and pure form democracy, good and bad governance which you are failing to do so, continually. May be problem with your generation. Look where you guys haven taken the country to...third world dump its is..needs lot of clean up and thats why jhadooo.. Its matter of few hours, you will know.
At this stage there are only two results possible one AAP wins or hung assembly. But for me AAP is already in power as we clearly see sea change in attitudes of politician and direction in which parties want to go.
Ok let me make you happy, hypothetically and really hypothetically if AAP is in opposition, it will still put lot lot of pressure on ruling party and YOU will see the difference in constituencies where AAP candidate will win verses other constituencis in coming times. stay put and keep watching...Eventually AAP is here to stay and do much needed clean up..
Good luck to your akas, some of them will get call from karma soon.
The results are out. BJP - 32; Congress - 8; AAP - 28; Others - 2.
Congress sensing its rout on the election day (even Sheila Dixit has lost her seat by a margin of 10,000 votes), implemented its Plan B of preventing BJP from gaining absolute majority. This they did by extending the voting time at booths till 8.30PM and before that calling out at 5.15PM through English news channels Election Analysis programs that a 55% voter turn out would be favorable for BJP and only above 65% for AAP. Until 3.00PM the voter turn out was only about 33% and 5 PM app.50% expecting to up to 55% max. But after about 5.30PM there was a surge at the booths.
Why the poll analysis were being telecast even when the voting was happening between 5.30PM and 8.30PM? Or these news channels above EC diktat. Should they not have suspended the telecast till 8.30PM until the actual extended voting hours was over. If there was nothing wrong in what they did why they should wait till 5.30PM. They could have as well telecast the predictions morning 7.00AM itself before anyone goes to the poll booth (i.e., their earlier analysis of other polls).
What has happened is similar to insider trading.
English news channels too think that minorities not voting en mass for a particular political party, even if they are genuine and can give good governance,is democracy and secularism, majority voting for a particular party is communalism.
Anything anti-national is welcome for them and pro-national is something to be done away with. BJP just like Hinduism is one such entity for these English News channels. Why they should be so? For they are after all "English".
Now it remains to be seen whether what has happened is Lord Krishna's act or Shakuni's deceit, only time and unfolding events can tell.

Kejriwal has done nothing but a spoiler in the entire process.. Wait some time, my assumption is, he will be like a MSY of UP.
