They said that the transponder, the gadget that tells the AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS, stopped working after an hour and ten minutes. Either it failed or some one switched it off intentionally.
The say that the BOEING 777 had fuel for 8 hours. They know where it was an hour and ten minutes after it took off on its course to BEIJING. Now it was left with fuel on board for 6 hours and 50 minutes.
Since there were no VOICE communications nor any interactive communications from the aircraft to its base, it is feared that it is lost in flight. They used to have a system called ACARS, initially. It was superseded by ARINC, then by MDU, with all of the systems and the requirements in place and supposed to be operating normally, the flight just vanished from the control tower screen. The systems mentioned here were automatically generated by the TURBINES, from time to time and it talks with the base. Now someone who knows all of these will have to find when it LAST sent in its data to the base. Using this information and approximating the distance travelled by the plane, they can easily narrow it down to a range. It will be anywhere on a circumference, based on the radius provided by the last bit of communication received at the BASE, and the distance the plane travelled in that span of time.
They are smart and they will figure this one out soon. But will they find the plane? That is another enigma that needs to get solved.

Seems like the plane has traveled more distance than the data available, thus no signs are seen in last 5 days in the areas where the search is on.
Many theories floating at this stage... Hope kins have enough strength to bear the trauma.
This has been the most mysterious disappearance that I can ever recollect. My personal belief is that it blew up and disintegrated into so small pieces - hard to recover - but I could be very wrong. All the military and intelligence agencies throwing in their own twists and finding is making it more complex everyday.
So much technology and communication - still no concrete evidence (:
What I find surprising is the tone of China to Malaysia - they are almost threatening and calling them liars despite that fact the everyone is still clueless about the facts - unless there is something they know and not sharing with the rest of the world.
For once I pray that it was hijacked and taken to a safe haven somewhere and there is some hope for the passengers to return. All other possibilities had horrific endings.

The two Transponders that identifies the plane and its position were switched off first. These two are intentionally positioned on Two different power systems, just in case one power system failed the next one will keep going on the second power soursce. THIS WAS ALSO SWITCHED OFF, by Whom?
The ACAR system, which lets the TURBINES etc., that communicates with the base has a circuit breaker of its own and it is located under the Galley, the location where the grub carts and booze wagons stay. They have to move them out of the way and have to go down seven steps under the location and deliberately got to switch them off to keep the plane silent. SOME ONE KNEW THIS and IT TOOK TWENTY MINUTES or so get to that spot and KILL THAT SWITCH. This happened after they switched the Transponders OFF
Now do tell me, what would you like to call this? Either it is SABOTAGE or an HIJACK. That is my wild guess.
Once this gets done, they have fuel to fly the plane anywhere it will take them to land before the fuel finishes OR just let it drop out of the sky and distintegrate or glide smoothly into the drink and rest at the bottom of the ocean or in a shallow spot and be found later at a future date and time, may be as a time capsule. If someone could ONLY open the doors and use the seat cusions to float, they may be waiting to get picked up by a passing boat.
WHAT WAS IN ITS HOLD? That was worth so much? ORR
WAS IT A LOONEY BIN that went wingding and did all of these acts to get even with the airline company?
CAN ANY ONE MAKE AN APP for APP? Yes.. AIRPLANE PING AND PLOT?? There will be tonnes of money there if some one can build an APP for that. Just a thought.
It is a very cruel blow and there is no way to bear such a sad and mysterious death.
That is the thought for the day. AND let there be peace in the family of those travellers who are are missing their near and dear ones and the families of the Flight Crew also.

There was this news item that said the pilot practiced his skills in piloting with a simulator even at home and was teased by his colleagues "for taking home" his work. Did he try any trick like children taking their hands off when riding bicycle.
The case of Kanishka too was similar but later confirmed as terrorist plot.

EIGHT HOUR of flying time is over, now EIGHT DAYS HAVE PASSED and still no sign of the PLANE. What a cruel way the hijackers have played their hand.
It is interesting to note about the facts that are coming out, but little at a time and imagine the tangent it takes, which only fortifies the theories that we all suspect. Either it is a SABOTAGE or it is INTENTIONALLY HIJACKED by a few.
Now for the REALITY.. : They have switched off all of the systems on board and they flew silently for nearly SEVEN Hours after they switched all of the ID's off. They also knew that they will be violating the airspaces of so many countries, if they flew over their land space. So, they decided to take the flight over the ocean.
Even then, there are other systems that watch the movements of all of the flying objects, monitor and store the data that it acquires. More on it later. But this data will not be released to any one and hence it is for their personal use only. (When I say personal, I mean for their own Governmental use) Some of it will not be fungible. But they will do the analysis for others, together with the furnished data, if the others will provide their available data and are willing to part with it for determination of the FLIGHT MH370.
Just to give you an example, at a location called DIEGO GARCIA, a small island based in the Indian Ocean, just below the Arabian Seas, the US has a Radar station that monitors any and all of the traffic that it can for the USA and sends it instantaneously to the Pentagon for analysis. They have a sophisticated system which they will not divulge nor part with its acquired data. But with a time stamp from Malaysian Military data and if they provide the same to the US pentagon, they can superimpose the same over the data from Diego Garcia and see where the flight MH370 could have gone? They triangulate it. But could they? NO. So, we are back to square one. All of this is because the MH370 has flown silently under the radar. They tell us, it could be SOUTH or to the NORTH.
This is where the Simulator enters the picture. Some of them learn with the softwares available, how to fly in an undetectable mode under all of the conditions. What a twisted brain these crooks have developed to a very fine art and avoided all of the available Military Radar detectors.
Here is something worth while to note. The BOEING 777's have two Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons, one in the NOSE and one under the TAIL portion of the plane. The fuel that they had on board which could have taken them on a flight for Eight long hours, if it got exhausted and 'IF' the flight landed in the ocean, and "IF" it broke up and water somehow got into the plane, these two EPIRB's would have been activated, I am sure it is Eight hours after it took off on its flight. AND THEY DID NOT get activated. SO,.....
Now they have to draw a circle from KualaLumpur, with about 3,500 mile radius and find all of the Air Strips that are capable and will permit them to land. Which they found, that there are 680 such strips, that they could avail and some how make a landing and stretch thier limbs. Some times I wonder if they ever left their own runway there. Jokes besides, They might be parked there and sitting right in their own back yard. Instead of playing with the simulator, they might be practising on the real one.!!
