Got married year before & sponsor my spouse under family class for Canada. Spouse came here but due to Some problem couldnot stay together & I didn't make any accomodation,keep myself away from spouse & don't want to take care too.
I want to cancel sponsorship of my spouse.

Nothing can be done.
It is a catch -22 situation. Till she lands here, you are the king but once she lands here, you are a mouse.
She can file a mental / physical harassment suit against you and get a seperation notice from you and can live scott free. besides you are supposed to support her for the first 3 years.
Go to your MP and see what can be done.

Dude..... or Dudette .... you will have to respect your sponsorship obligations. You have no choice. Be nice with your spouse. He/She can create more problems for you.

MP can't do anything but he can try to raise problems such as yours in the parliment and that is what he is elected for.
Desi's are a minority in this region and this frequently is happening to Desi's esp. Punjabi's.
Desi's (Both dudes and dudesses) have a lot of dreams on marrying a spouse, where in they think that the spouse will come to Canada and work and that they can be a couple earning money and buying a house, but in cases like the OP, some try to separate and try to milk the system (harrasment case, usage of food banks, welfare, abuse shelters, second career etc..).
Who knows. You MP can help you much more than what we think.
