Most of these add on diplomas are for a period of 40 weeks or there aboouts. I do not see them in their normal calendars as a Part Time Course.
Some of them are held on week ends when they get sufficient inducements. For such an inducement, some of the employers make a request and provide a group of students or subsidize the fees for the students as an inducement. Still it is the employer who will have to do it for all of you as a group study. So, ask your employer if the nature of your work will enable you to enter such a field. A few of them are held at a very distant location and might involve traveling.
For a Pharmacist, you can take a TWO year Pharmacist Diploma or a FOUR year degree. That is the best profession that will pay you a dividend if you study and progress well in one such company or with an employer
For the research field they always look for Doctorates. It is a long and drawn out process and will call for a lot of credits and seven to ten years of intensive studies and a lot of funds or scholarships and if you can find any support from the industry, then, a sponsor to get you started with. Also you must have very high standing in your education and some knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry/ies that are operating in that part of the world.
Hope this helps. Also Google your way into finding a college close by where you live.
