Has anybody visited Hamilton waterfalls? Any feedback on how to organise a day trip?

It seems like for each group, you can park your car at a place and then hike around and see all the falls. However, I would appreciate a first-hand feedback on this place.

I did not like the place when I was there in 2006.
There was a glimpse of fall colours that you can see on the hike (a huge valley will be seen). A short hike will take you to a little stream where in there is also a small grassed area where people picnic.
It was not worth it but again it is relative.
For fall colours, people advise Mississauga road locally.
They say that the Grunge of Guelph is better and I agree. Also the lake at the old limestone quarry at Guelph was too over rated.
Hope this helps.

Last year we had been to couple of falls. they are not spectacular as Niagara Falls (obviously) but they are scenic and you can cover 3-4 falls and make one of them as picnic spot. Good for hiking. Worth visiting at least once.

Websters falls is nice, but they have closed the stairs with clear waning signs, but still you will see people ignoring that and descending all the way to the base of the falls, I guess it will be crowded during the labour day weekend, note parking is $10 and you can use it for other falls as well, Tews falls is very close by, from there you can hike 2kms to dundas peak (google pls) where you will get a nice view of hamilton
