I got my PR card confirmation documents. I found that there is an error in Date of Birth.

Can I enter Canada with this error in the confirmation document.

Please let me know ASAP.

Get the error corrected before landing. CIC letter also says that you need to get any errors corrected before landing. Otherwise the officer mightnot let u land.

In my case I got the Confirmation PR Card document only 2 days back and I am landing in Canada this Saturday.

I donot have time to send my passport back to Canada and get the passport stamped again since I have to leave USA before Saturday as my L1 VISA has expired.

Please advice.

You can ask the officer at the entry to change it. When I landed, the officer asked us whether everything in COPR is correct as they use that data to prepare your PR card. Mr.Massood should be able to give better info.

Your case is somewhat different. Try landing and point out to officer that there's an error in your papers. They won't kick you out.

If they ask you why you didn't inform the embassy, tell the truth about your short time remaining in US etc. Don't try to cover up with some hindi movie style story or by listening to some other immigrants "who did it like thi s or that ..."
