Law of the Garbage Truck 🚛
This has to be one of the best messages I have received because when you sit and think about it.... It is so true!
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded and missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy could almost ruin your car and sent us to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'Law of the Garbage Truck'
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointments. As and when their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.
Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, So ... Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is 10 % what you make it.
AND
90 % how you take it!

Revenge can be bitter sweet, but if u sit back and watch, KARMA can be pure entertainment.
On another note, aren't frustration, anger, disappointments etc are also natural reactions. Why not make it work for us? Remember reading a book on negative thinking long ago. A lot of wrong things happening around us also seem to be because of politeness, decency and a cosmetic approach to most things. Garbage trucks too play a role in keeping our neighbourhoods clean.

I 'll agree to this point only if all of us unanimously agree that driving taxi is mark of a successful person !! After all the taxi man is following the so called law of garbage.
Instead of pouncing on me (saying I am demeaning a type of work, and I am insensitive) , Please be sure that you are convinced taxi driving in Canada is considered one of the most successful profession.
A content person will never invent a thing, however a disappointed one will also look for making things better... basic funda of any startup is solving the issue, not accepting it and praying for others who are facing the issue.
What the reading says is tke negative feeling like anger, frustrations etc just the same way you take happiness. ;-)

I once read a book (a whodunit) where the author wrote a lot of philosophy about every day situations - trying to be really deep. Eg. " In every Mc Donald's takeaway bag - you will always find a fry at the bottom. You just have to look." Meaning - keep trying/looking - you will find a clue.
Obviously, I did not finish the book 😫
That was the day I decided - to stay away from such intense and deep messages. Whatsapp is full of it. When people gush over such "gems" - I always feel very cynical - and I hate it - the feeling that I am a candy snatcher.
To maintain and preserve my "good looks" - I have stopped the eye rolls and gnashing and try serene some smiling - when faced with such soul stirring pearls of wisdom.
I love such msgs to read day in day out coz it mkes me more beautiful frm inside out plus it mkes me enjoy every moment. Cheers!
