Hi,
We just got out pre-approval for Canadian Immigration. We have been asked to submit the Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia. We are given to understand that Saudi Government do not help in this regard. Any thoughts on how do we obtain the police clearance from Saudi Arabia?
Thanks
Uma
Hi
I used to work in Saudi, but, was not asked to submit the police verification.
It is possible to get a police verification from saudi. You have to go to some police station and give finger prints along with a request for police verification.
Most of the taxi drivers in saudi arabia need a police certificates, so, check with one of them and you will get the exact information.
By the way, are you a malabari

Hi, Thanks a lot for reply. We are in USA at the moment and not in Saudi Arabia. We approached the Saudi Embassy in US, we were informed that they cannot help us in this regard.
And I am not a Malabari. I am an Indian.
There is another thing you can do. Did you call the saudi embassy and they said they cant help you.
I'd suggest that you write a letter to the embassy requesting the police clearance , give them all details of your stay and passport copies of saudi visa etc.
They will either tell you in writing what to do to get the clearnance or they will write to you that they cannot give it to you.
this way you can use this documentation to givce to CHC showing that you tried to get it but the embassy is refusing to help.
I hope this such help your care.
You may also check with any immigration consultants on this, but i feel they would take the same approach.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the reply. It is a good approach. We shall build up records, atleast we can show that we did make attempts.

Every peice of paper helps to build a case , even phone bills with the embassy numbers highlighted should help prove that you contacted them numerous times.

As long as the embassy gets evidence of your efforts, you should be fine.
