Few questions,
1. Is hp and dell, both are same or dell is better !
2.Are refurbished desktops reliable !
3. Is it good to buy a refurbished from a renowned outlet or can be taken from people selling privately from homes in case the price is low !
4. I want to do multitasking and AutoCAD, what specifications would suite me the best, also pls tell the monitor size!
5. Where can I get the best deal, don't necessarily need a new one, but a good condition old one will also do!
Thanks

Thanks FH, how about getting refurbished desktops from Walmart , best buy or future shop ! Secondly, should I choose anyone between Dell and hp ! I need a quad core, 4 GB ram and around 250 GB hard drive. Hat should be the price range for this configuration btw. Thanks
Some times, you will find good ones for very cheap in Flea Markets ... particularly if you know how to fix small things or do some upgrades.

Just buy a new computer. Donot get refurbished ones. Laptop is one top investment that you need for success in Canada. Dec. 26th is boxing day where you will get 30% or more discount, if you are prepared to go to a store early (may be best buy, Future shop, Tiger or Walmart).
With internet and googling, you can get to know many free services that is available for immigrants like you in Canada.

Just to add, if you will be relying on Tech support to resolve the PC issues, you might want to consider Dell since they have better support than HP. Not sure where you are located, if you know someone who can assemble PC, going custom made will give you more bang for your buck. But if you want PC for basic use, just go with any pre-build.
