Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I'm applying for Canadian Immigration under Family class. I'm a Chartered Accountant by profession.
In IMM008E - Generic Application form For Canada, on Page 3 Education/Occupation details section doesn't give any specific option for Chartered Accountants. What should, among the following, should I select for my profession:
- Trade Apprenticeship/ Certificate Diploma
- Non-University Certificate/ Diploma
- Bachelor Degree
- Master's Degree
Also, how should my total years of education be counted post High school?
I have 12 years of formal school education+ 3 years of B.Com degree (2004-2007)+ 6 years of CA (2005- 2011 including three years of articleship). Two years of my CA education overlapped with my B.Com degree.
I've seen people responding very swiftly in this forum. I hope you will share your expert knowledge to get me out of this dilemma.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, FH for your reply.
My medium of study was English throughout. As far as assessment is considered, I've already done that. It exempted me from all the courses to become a CPA in Canada except for one common exam.
I think I'll go by your suggestion and select Bachelors as my option for the time being as it suits my qualification the best among the options available.
If you get to find more details about it, please share them with me as well.
Thank you.
