The risk is superlative when children are taught to hate non-Muslims, which puts our children directly at physical risk in the schools. Our local mosques are completely unmonitored and puts you and me at risk from the congregation members. No one should be allowed to spread hatred in a free and secular society like ours.
Large numbers of concerned citizens are writing to their local MP’s about this ever growing danger. In the light of growing terrorist activities in Canada and everywhere, it is important for us to do something about it and not just sit on our posteriors hoping it will all go away.

Yes. Please do write the letter (all CD's who are willing to).
At the same time, please tell that whatever the muslim mosques are subjected to, the same should be applied to hindu temples, christian churches, Gurudwara's.
For example, if every muslim sermon is to be handed over to the police, then the other denomination sermons are also to be metted out with the same treatment. (BTW, I am not a Hindu or a Muslim)

Yes. It is going to be much more complex soon. Canada will have problems like India, France, UK soon ... unless real measures are worked out and implemented. Even Though it is late, it is not too late.
if possible, one of us should draft and post good letter here which anyone can copy and paste to send e-mail to local MP's..
this way we can all shows our concerns in one words than seprate words..

Below is a rough draft to help give an idea for the letter.
1) Give a reference to the Tarek fatah column on the Toronto sun to highlight the level of indoctrination that's going on in places of worship.
2) Mention how angry and misled worshipers have been committing acts of violence on fellow citizens and neighbors, around the world (too many examples to give.)
3) Talk about how these misguided parents influence their children at home who in turn cause risk to our children attending the schools.
4) Make a strong appeal that the government needs to strictly ban that place of worship if it is found advocating violence, hatred or using it as a political forum. Such places should be shutdown to ensure safety for everyone.
Do provide examples of incidents in your area, if any, to provide greater clarity to the MPP.
P.S: It's a good idea to avoid sending the same letter by everyone as it would look like a cut and paste job sent by the same person.
Definitely any hate speech should be reported. Also it would be helpful if there are witnesses and proof.
