Nope that is not the trend. you are mistaken and blindfolded by bhakti movement by Modi, thus making up a trend out of nothing.
Trend is :
BJP says AAP and Congress are conniving against them.
Congress says AAP and BJP are hand in gloves.
AAP says BJP and Congress are all same.
and common sense says, these 3 are rival parties and are fighting elections to win over each other.

Not gonna argue on this topic more but o prove my point: BJP wining Delhi
Christian "protest" just before Delhi Election. AAP "invited" for protest.
Bhukari support for AAP in Delhi Election.
CPI support for AAP in Delhi Election
Now only SIMI and Indian mujahidin support missing

On surface it might look like it's all about BJP or RSS. In defense of the previous poster, allow me to analyze this further.
1) In today’s news, the shahi imam of Jama Masjid gave a fatwa for all Muslims to vote for AAP. In normal circumstances this would be a huge shot in the arm for any party especially in a tight race as this. But, the support was immediately shot down by the AAP leadership. This is unprecedented in any democracy. Why? The inference is that no party (even in Canada) wants to be seen as being associated with Islam for fear of losing the support of the majority. This is the number one reason for the Lok Sabha 2014 election results.
2) Naturally, it has come to be believed that anyone not supporting BJP is closely aligned with the anti-rational forces. You will notice that there are non-Hindus supporting BJP but how many non-Muslims support Owaisi or SIMI like movements?
3) The writing is on the wall. People will vote for anyone that will not turn their country into another Pakistan or Iraq. Does not matter if it is BJP, RSS, PEGIDA, French National party or even Britain's UKIP.
